UNIVERSAL CREDIT - A GUIDE FOR THOSE IN NEED

We have been extremely fortunate to have been contacted by Lisa Manners who has provided us with a link that might help members, their families or friends with regards to to task of claiming Universal Credits.  If you are not entitled, but know someone who might be and are having problems please pass the link on, or perhaps print off a copy and give it to them.  As we always say KNOWLEDGE IS POWER and Lisa is helping to give those less fortunate than ourselves THE POWER

This is Lisa's story:

My sister has recently applied for Universal Credit. She has a learning disability and found the process very stressful.

I believe there are many people who are suffering an enormous amount of stress as a result of the new system.

I decided to put everything I have learnt into a guide to try and help other people who may be struggling.

The page is: https://businesscostsaver.co.uk/guide-to-benefits/

If  you think this page would help others, would you be happy to place it in your list of resources? It's definitely something I plan to update regularly as I know the DWP are always changing things. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Many Thanks

Lisa
