Welcome to the home page of the Cardiff branch of the National Association of Retired Police Officers (NARPO). We are a member organisation representing retired police officers of all ranks and police widows, widowers and partners of former police officers mainly from the South Wales Police, but we do have members from other forces who are now living in this area. On behalf of the national headquarters in Wakefield we can offer a range of services to members including advice on pensions and other issues affecting the welfare of our members, as well as assisting members on a local level.

It's that time of year when the website is reviewed and items that are no longer relevant are deleted, other items are placed into a more suitable location depending on their content e.g. Everything to do with McCLOUD & SARGEANT is now on the PENSIONS page.
Other items including images etc have either been moved to the BRANCH ARCHIVE or to the RELEVANT EVENTS page
If you are having trouble trying to locate something, DO NOT FORGET the site has a powerful search facility that you can utilise

The creation of this website and its associated facilities is not intended as a replacement or a challenge to the long standing system IN THE LOOP operated by the famous Paul'Oddball' Phillips. This website should be seen as being an additional link in the chain of keeping those retired officers and families IN THE LOOP with everything that is going on. There are lots of 'LOOPERS' who are not members of NARPO and conversely lots of NARPO members who are not 'LOOPERS'. Therefore hopefully by utilising the membership of both, we can keep everybody:
